This chair is from the Boston area. This chair was re-upholstered in January 1969 by Joseph Li Volsi for Winterthur, and re-upholstered by the Conservation lab on6/2/94. At that time, the silk upholstery was replaced and a new ethafoam foundation was added.

This fabric "Alberton Damask" was woven in England by Guy Humphries and 35 yards were purchased through Classical Revivals by Winterthur on 5/25/1999.
