2. Inscription; Side of blade; "DOUBLE REFINED SPRING STEEL" stamped incuse.
3. Inscription; SIde of blade; "WARRANTED" stamped incuse.
4. Mark; Medallion; "SPEAR & JACKSON" arched over a crown logo over "S" and "J" flanking a five armed Maltese cross over a curved "SHEFFIELD" in raised detail.
