Rounded block-front bureau table with straight bracket feet. The two-board conforming top is ogee-molded on the front and side edges, overhangs the front, sides and back of the case. There is one full-width drawer just below the top. Two banks of three graduated drawers with single-piece, solid-wood fronts are separated by a recessed cabinet with chamfered, molded, arched door. Beading is applied to the drawer openings; there is no rail above the top drawer or below the bottom drawers. The cupboard door opens to reveal two scalloped shelves. A shallow sliding tray drawer above the cabinet has a shaped lower edge composed of two stepped, flat arches separated by a astragal pendant. Ogee molding around the front and side bottom edges of the case conforms to the blocking. The case sits on six plain, straight bracket feet. All drawers are fitted with brass bail pulls mounted on solid brass plates. The top drawer and cabinet door are fitted with locks.
