Edition Notes

Smith (p.475) lists three states of this print. State one has the subject close robe edged with ermine; state II with with face completely erased and reworked without the high cap or lappets and with jewels added to to the bodice of the dress. This immpression appears to be similar to state I, with the sole change of state II, the addition of the pearls, and different legend.
