The facing fabric on this quilt was printed at the Printworks of John Marshall in Manchester, England between 1815 and 1825. The backing fabric was probably printed in England between 1815 and 1820.

(Conservation, 2011) Obverse (T162): Vertical design repeat: 21 3/8 inches; Horizontal design repeat: No -scenes cut; Selvedge width: 21.50 inches - this measurement has been approximated as the panel has been stitched into the quilt and the selvedge is not visible on either side Reverse (T246): Vertical design repeat: 5.5 inches. Selvedge width: 22 5/8 inches - an approximate measurement as both selvedge edges have been sewn into seams
