William H. Savage (Maker)
With Jasper Graham of Wethersfield, William H. Savage purchased Josiah Danforth's lot and shop at the corner of Main and Mill Streets, Middletown, Connecticut (Laughlin, vol.1, p.118). Seven months later, John B. Graham took over Jasper Graham's one-half interest in the business, and the company name changed from Graham and Savage to Savage and Graham. The partnership failed in 1839, though it is unclear as to whether Savage continued to work after this date (Laughlin, vol.2, p.103).
