Per previous cataloguer (pre-2010)- The creation place was identified as Sultanabad. However, the dish also bears great resemblance to ceramics made in the Timurid period in Iran (often attributed to the Varamin area).

1. Label; Underside; "..67-15." in raised white lettering
2. Inscription; Underside; appears to read "719" in pencil or black chalk
3. Label; Loose, in bowl; "PermColl/ 1996.4.183" in blue ink and pencil on one side and "Campbells/ 1967-15/ BOWL" in blue ink on the other side.
