This bed hanging is made from fabric that was printed in England in about 1790. Blue threads are present in the selvedges.

Measurements are approximate due to the inherent variability of textiles. (Conservation, 2009). Selvedge width: 26 1/4 inches. Vertical Design Repeat: 11 3/4 inches. Florence Montgomery determined warps per inch at 60.
