A clog (also called a patten) with a leather sole and a silk damask upper. This was designed to be worn with a high heel woman's shoe. The raised platform area on the interior of the clog would support a shoe heel. Silk covered leather straps cross at the front of the clog and would be secured by a buckle. This clog is not original to the paired shoe 1958.2944 A-B, but is an example of the type of clog worn with that shoe.
