As per Belden, Marks of American Silversmiths, p. 442: William Bradford Whiting is the brother of Charles and Ebenezer Whiting and the father of William Bradford Whiting II (1766-1810). He is the uncle of Charles Bradford Whiting Jr. (b. 1751) a jeweler.
