Martha Turner (Maker)
Martha Turner entered the Litiz Seminary in Pennsylvania in 1836 at the age of 16. She was enrolled by James Turner of Weissenburg, Baltimore County, Maryland. Martha made this crepe work sampler in 1837 while at school.
