The original plate appears to have undergone serious changes before this impression was printed, above title at bottom of image the design appears to have been lower a depth of 4 cm.; also plate seems to have been subject to corrosion or deliberate defacing throughout the image area. Date of 1693 assigned to original plate and State I impressions; State II with vertical line in center of inscription space; State III Boydell catalogue.
