Faber Jr. was one of London's most prolific mezzotint engravers. He used the "Jr." or "Junr." designation with his name until his father's death in 1721.Pupil of Isaac Beckett. Smith acquired both Beckett's business and inventory of plates around 1688. Smith's plates were sold at his death to John Boydell.
